Nursing home transfers are a large portion of our work.

 

When a Rest Home cannot accommodate all the needs of a patient and specialised care is required. 
We are able to help to transfer patients to a their new Nursing Home. 

 

Wealden Ambulance Services' responsible for transportation are extremely varied and we aim to meet the needs of any patient, irrespective of their age or circumstances.

Our staff are very experienced in transferring bedbound patients, that may need carrying downstairs. We have fully equipped ambulances with a stretcher, carry chair and handling equipment.

 

Depending on the service that is required, we are able to undertake a risk assessment, we will ensure a suitable ambulance is provided to meet all the patient's needs and ensure their dignity is maintained throughout the time they are in our care.
